Clamps are essential, but storing them neatly can be frustrating. This rolling cart keeps them all within arm’s reach, categorized, and stable.
Materials
3/4" plywood – (1) full 4×8 sheet
Caster wheels (4) – locking preferred
1" dowels or 2×2 rails
Wood screws
Handle (optional)
Cut List
Base: 24" x 36"
Vertical panels (2): 24" x 36"
Shelves/rails: (as needed for layout)
Tools Needed
Circular saw or table saw
Drill/driver
Jigsaw (for curves, optional)
Square
Clamps!
Steps
Assemble Base
Attach casters and vertical panels. Ensure 90° upright position.
Add Clamp Supports
Stagger rails or dowels on both sides for parallel and F-style clamps.
Add Shelving or Hooks
Store small clamps or spring clamps in cubbies or bins.
Test Roll and Balance
Load clamps. Make sure cart is stable and rolls freely.
