Materials

Tools Needed

  • Saw (handsaw or circular saw)

  • Drill and bits (1.25” spade bit)

  • Sandpaper

  • Ruler and pencil

Steps

  1. Cut All Pieces
    Cut the front, back, sides, floor, and roof panels.

  2. Drill Entrance Hole
    Use the spade bit to drill a 1.25” hole in the front, 6” from the bottom.

  3. Assemble the Body
    Attach sides to the back, then attach front. Glue and screw together.

  4. Attach Floor and Roof
    Secure the floor from the sides. Screw on angled roof panels.

  5. Paint or Stain
    Apply exterior-safe finish. Mount outside at least 6 ft above ground.
