Organizing your workspace boosts productivity. This wall-mounted tool organizer uses a French cleat system for flexibility.

Materials

  • 3/4” plywood – 1 sheet (4’ x 4’)

  • 1x2 boards – 4 pieces, 48” long

  • Wood screws (1-1/4”) – Box

  • Wood glue – As needed

Tools Needed

  • Table saw or circular saw

  • Drill

  • Level

  • Measuring tape

  • Screwdriver

Steps

  1. Cut the Back Panel
    Cut plywood to 48” x 36”.

  2. Make French Cleats
    Rip 1x2s at a 45° angle.

  3. Mount the Back Panel
    Screw into studs.

  4. Build Tool Holders
    Customize holders and attach cleats.

  5. Customize Layout
    Rearrange holders as needed.
