Tools Required

  • Table saw or circular saw

  • Drill and Kreg pocket hole jig

  • Orbital sander

  • Tape measure and square

  • Clamps

  • Wood chisel (for fine tuning joints)

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Tabletop Assembly
    Joint or edge-glue the 2x10 boards. Clamp and let dry overnight. Optional: Add biscuits for alignment.

  2. Build the Base
    Cut and assemble the apron from 2x4s using pocket screws and glue.

  3. Attach Legs
    Notch apron corners if needed. Secure 4x4 legs to aprons using pocket holes on the inside.

  4. Sanding
    Sand all surfaces (starting at 80 grit and finishing at 220).

  5. Finishing
    Apply wood conditioner, then stain. After drying, seal with polyurethane (3 coats recommended).
