Materials

Tools Needed

  • Table saw or jigsaw

  • Drill with bits

  • Clamps

  • Wrench and socket set

  • Measuring tape

  • Sander

Steps

  1. Build the Base Frame
    Construct a 24” x 20” frame with 2x4s. Add caster wheels.

  2. Create the Flip Top
    Cut two plywood panels at 24” x 20”. Sandwich around 2x4 frame. Insert steel rod through sides.

  3. Install Flip Mechanism
    Drill aligned holes in frame sides. Slide steel rod through top panel and lock in place with bolts and washers.

  4. Mount Tools
    Secure a tool on each side. Ensure balance and center of gravity.

  5. Locking System
    Add pins or locking bolts to secure the top in either position.
